Club Rendezvous

The Club generally hosts two events per year. The Annual Rendezvous is a four-day event held each September after Labor Day. This rendezvous features educational sessions, a club meeting, typically a "Boat Open House," and social events with fellow club members. Throughout the year, members are likely to meet again in Florida, Charleston, or the Great Lakes area, or enjoy a Caribbean cruise. Members cruise in, drive in, or fly in. A non-member guest may attend 1 rendezvous with the payment of the registration fee. The expectation is that the guest would then join the club.

Marina Dockage At A Club Rendezvous

The club generally negotiates a discounted rate for paid rendezvous and guest attendees for slips when they cruise-in. These negotiated rates are not guaranteed.

Club Burgee

An opportunity to display the club logo with pride. Members may purchase a club burgee in blue or black. Burgees are available for purchase to club members only.

Voices That Speak About Our Club

Tom & Phyllis Earnest

This is Tom Earnest President of the Hatteras Classic Club. My wife Phyllis & I have received unbelievable benefits from the Club since joining in 2002 & attending the 2nd Annual Hatteras Classic Club Rendezvous in St Michael’s, Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. We have been good friends with many members since then. We have attended the Annual Rendezvous in September and the Winter Rendezvous’ usually in Florida or on a cruise ship. These Rendezvous’ are full of education about these wonderful Hatteras's & all their systems. Camaraderie with members, sharing stories of our boating experiences & much more. Last Winter we had a Rendezvous in Fort Lauderdale with tours of Port Everglades, tour of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department, Station 49 with their fire boat & dive operation plus the trucks, ambulances ladder & specialty equipment. Ocean Rescue, which is part of the Fire Department, was on hand to talk about their operation. We had a tour of Coast Guard Station, Fort Lauderdale & saw their operation in protecting us on our boats & from smugglers. We had a welcoming party at a member's home on a canal behind the Famous Pier 66 Marina & Resort, Cuban dinner, Brazilian Steak House dinner & dinner at another member's home by the pool, their boat on a canal. One year, members in Detroit hosted a Rendezvous at the Detroit Yacht Club which included a trip to Put-In-Bay, where Admiral Perry defeated the British Navy Squadron. We traveled on members’ Hatteras' & stayed at Bed & Breakfasts. We would love it if new members hosted a Rendezvous in their part of the country. We are looking forward to our cruise, January 11th to 18th on Celebrity’s newest ship, the Excel. This is a great group of people. Get involved so you can enjoy all the benefits.

Ed & Betty Miles

We have been members of the Hatteras Classic Club since 2001 and find it an invaluable resource for Hatteras boats. Members have extensive knowledge about all systems, great ideas and sources for improvements, upgrades and repairs for preventative maintenance. Membership has created many enduring friendships with those who enjoy owning these exceptional boats.

Brad Price & Stuart Esack

We are incredibly proud to be founding members of the club. Over the past 25 years, it has been remarkable to witness its evolution into a vibrant community of boat enthusiasts from across the country—many of whom have become lifelong friends. We eagerly anticipate our two annual Rendezvous events, where we reconnect, share boating adventures, and celebrate our shared passion. The value we receive from our membership dues is truly exceptional.

Donna & Larry Miller

We have been members of the Hatteras Club for over 10 years. We have made great friends and look forward to seeing them at the Rendezvous. They are so much fun and we have been able to visit other towns on the Chesapeake Bay and travel to new places on the cruises. We have learned so much these great Hatteras Yachts from the member
